Paloma Matcha Spritz
Our Paloma Matcha Spritzer is a refreshing, sophisticated cocktail that fuses zesty grapefruit, earthy matcha, and sparkling fizz. Made with Belvoir Farm Pink Grapefruit Paloma, it’s a fun, invigorating twist on a classic spritzer – perfect for parties or any lively gathering.
Ingredients
| 1 tsp | Matcha powder |
| 30ml | Warm water |
| 500ml | Belvoir Farm Pink Grapefruit Paloma |
| Flaky sea salt | for decoration |
| Grapefruit | cut into half moons, for garnish |
Method
To Make
- 1. Sieve your matcha powder into a small bowl, and add 30ml warm water. Use the chasen (or tea whisk) to mix the water and powder together in a W/M motion for 30 seconds. N.B. These motions (rather than a circular motion) ensure a thick, mousse-like foam. You want a thick but pourable consistency.
- Run half a lime or half a grapefruit around the rim of your glass then dip into flaky sea salt.
- Add a large ice cube to each glass, then pour in 250ml Belvoir Farm’s Pink Grapefruit Paloma into each glass.
- Slowly pour in your prepared matcha. If you want to, top with a half-moon of grapefruit as a garnish and enjoy.
