Mezcal Hot Chocolate

You will need…

Milk

2 cups

Cocoa powder

3 tbsp

Dark chocolate (chopped)

1/2 cup

Sugar

3 tbsp

Mezcal

110ml

Belvoir Farm Elderflower Cordial

28ml

Coffee liqueur

28ml

Whipped cream

For topping

Dark chocolate (shavings)

For topping

Method

1.

To a small sauce pan, add milk, cocoa powder, chopped dark chocolate, and sugar. Heat until gentle simmer then whisk well. Turn off heat and set aside.

2.

Add mezcal, coffee liqueur and Belvoir Farm Elderflower Cordial to a mug.

3.

Top with hot chocolate mixture, whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
