Give your classic Dark and Stormy a twist with the Fig and Stormy! Made with Belvoir Farm Ginger Beer and a touch of sweet fig jam, this cocktail is full of earthy, honeyed, and spicy flavours. Sophisticated and warming, it’s the perfect drink to cosy up with on a winter evening. Simple to make and sure to impress, it’s a cocktail worth stirring up tonight.

Ingredients

For the Cocktail

1 tbsp Fig jam
80ml Dark rum
1/2 Lemon (juice)
100ml Belvoir Farm Ginger Beer

For the Garnish

1 per drink Fresh figs
1 bar Dark chocolate
50g Crushed pistachios

Method

To Make 

  1. Start by preparing the beautiful chocolate covered figs for garnish. Slice a fig in half, dip into melted chocolate, and sprinkle with crushed pistachios. Place on parchment paper and refrigerate.
  2. Next, add the fig preserves, rum, and lemon juice into your glass and stir.
  3. Finally, fill the glass with ice, then top with ginger beer and garnish with the chocolate covered fig.
