Elderflower & Rose Frozen Yogurt

Indulge in our Elderflower & Rose Frozen Yoghurt! Made with Belvoir Farm Elderflower & Rose Cordial, this light, floral treat is refreshingly sweet and simple to make. Perfect for a healthier dessert option, it’s creamy, cooling, and utterly delicious.

Ingredients

300g Ripe Bananas (Peeled, Sliced & Frozen)
240ml Non-dairy Yogurt (Coconut, Almond, or Cashew for Creaminess)
60ml Belvoir Elderflower & Rose Cordial
5ml Vanilla Extract (Optional)

 

Method

To Make 

  1. Prep the Bananas: Peel, slice, and freeze the bananas for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Blend It Up: In a blender or food processor, combine the frozen bananas and non-dairy yogurt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Infuse the Flavours:
    1. Add the Belvoir Elderflower and Rose Cordials. Blend again until fully incorporated. Taste and adjust the amount of cordial if you’d like a stronger flavour.
    2. Divide in half and add dragon fruit powder, mix until one half is pink.
    3. Transfer the plain and pink yogurt into separate piping bags fitted with star or round tips.
    4. Pipe alternating colours into dessert bowls or glasses for a stunning presentation.
  4. Serve Immediately: Enjoy as soft-serve or transfer to a container and freeze for 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.
  5. Optional Garnishes: Sprinkle dried edible rose petals or a drizzle of extra cordial on top for a beautiful finish.
  6. Tips:
    1. If you’d like a more tangy frozen yogurt, use plain unsweetened yogurt and increase the cordials slightly for a bolder flavour.
    2. Pair with fresh berries or a delicate vegan shortbread for an extra treat.
