The Blushing Garden Cocktail
The Blushing Garden is our twist on the classic English Garden cocktail which features gin, and elderflower liqueur. Our rendition replaces the apple juice with Belvoir Farm Raspberry Lemonade to add light sparkle, a different fruity dimension and, of course, a gorgeous pink hue.
Ingredients
To make the cocktail
| 80-120ml | Belvoir Farm Raspberry Lemonade |
| 40ml | gin |
| 20ml | elderflower liqueur |
| 10ml | lemon juice |
To serve
| – | lemon slices |
| – | raspberries |
Method
To Make
- Half fill a large glass with ice, drop a slice of lemon and a few raspberries into the glass and add more ice.
- Pour the lemon juice, elderflower liqueur and gin into the glass.
- Now add the Belvoir Farm Raspberry Lemonade (go with 80ml for a punchy drink or 120ml for a longer, sweeter drink).
- Thread a few raspberries and pieces of lemon onto a cocktail pick and suspend over the glass.
- Serve immediately.
Expert Tips
- Serve this cocktail in either a Copa glass or a highball.
- Use plenty of ice to help keep the fruit suspended in the drink.
- Prepare in advance: mix a batch of the gin, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice together and store in a bottle in the fridge. When ready to serve shake the bottle gently then pour a 70ml measure into a glass and add the Raspberry Lemonade.
- Swap the gin for vodka or tequila if desired.
