Our Passion Fruit & Mango Granita is a vibrant, tropical frozen treat perfect for summer. Made with Belvoir Farm No Added Sugar Sparkling Passion Fruit & Mango, it bursts with fresh, fruity flavour and works wonderfully as a refreshing dessert or a unique cocktail base. Simple, delicious, and utterly irresistible.

Ingredients

You will need…

500ml Belvoir Farm No Added Sugar Sparkling Passion Fruit and
Mango
1 Orange juice
1 Mango
1 (+ 2 for decoration) Passion Fruit

Method

To Make 

  1. Scrape the seeds and juice from one passion fruit and add it to a food processor or smoothie maker with the flesh of one mango and the juice of one orange. Whizz until smooth.
  2. Pour the Belvoir Farm No Added Sugar Sparkling Passion Fruit & Mango into a shallow metal baking dish, then add the whizzed fruit and mix well.
  3. Place the tray into your freezer, being careful not to spill any.
  4. After 45 minutes, once the mixture begins to freeze around the edges, use a fork to scrape the icy edges towards the centre.
  5. Continue this process every 30-45 minutes until the entire mixture has transformed into fluffy, icy crystals.
  6. Scoop the granita into chilled glasses and serve with a passion fruit half on top for decoration. Eat immediately.
