Elderflower Cold Foam Matcha
Indulge in our Elderflower Cold Foam Matcha – a beautifully refreshing and sophisticated drink. The delicate floral sweetness of Belvoir Farm Elderflower Cordial perfectly lifts the earthy matcha notes, creating a subtly luxurious treat you’ll want to sip again and again.
Ingredients
| 25ml | Belvoir Farm Elderflower Cordial |
| 100ml | Double cream |
| 1tsp | Matcha powder |
| 70ml | Boiling water |
| – | Ice cubes |
Method
To make
- Pour the double cream and elderflower cordial into a small jug. Using a milk frother, whizz until the cream comes to medium peaks. You want to be careful not to overwhip the cream, and ensure it’s still smooth enough to pour. Err on the side of caution, as the cream will seize a little even after whisking.
- Sieve 1tsp matcha powder into a small bowl, and add the boiling water. Use the chasen (or tea whisk) in a M and W motion, mix the water and powder together up and down, and back and forth until you have a smooth and frothy mixture.
- Add some ice cubes to a screw lid jar and pour in the matcha, followed by the milk. Shake until well combined and the matcha milk is frothy.
- Pour into a glass, top with your elderflower cold foam, stir well and enjoy immediately.
